Well, it has happened. I have finally leveled up to extra firm! When I originally got the red, “Fuddy putty” out of its container, this song began to play over and over again in my head:
This IS my final countdown! It is now my habit for a little over two months to squeeze this putty as I watch TV. This one is difficult! Extra difficult!
I can barely squeeze it and it feels like a really hard, clay ball. It will take some time but I will be able to soften it eventually. Until then, I will constantly hear this song in my head! I am now at nine final level end it is really difficult!
I think my Mom will take it to the post office tomorrow. As I was packing it, Sean brought over the box of all of the things I have for both Natalie and Jonah to the kitchen table. As he put it on the table, he let me know that it is ONLY because I have so much fun sending these packages to them that he doesn’t eat all of the snacks because I keep the box of snacks in my room. He could get to it if you wanted to. I kind of laughed and thanked him for NOT eating all the snacks!
There were only a few Hershey kisses left, not enough to send to Jonah, so Sean ate them. When I was just about finished with putting the things in the package, Sean put one Hershey kiss inside. Sean laughed and said that it’s from him. I think I will have to tell Jonah that. I really DO dig sending these packages! Especially with the Michigan stickers! I have to order more stickers because I have gone through four pages of Michigan stickers because now I will have sent four packages to them.
It’s fun and it reminds me of when my Mom sent me packages when I was away at college.
Last week, the breakfast table had the recording artist, Sash at the breakfast table. He is only 19 years old and recorded this song in his bedroom with his brother. The NFL picked it up and I see/hear it on all this year’s game highlight reels. Sean listened to it yesterday and even though the Lions are NOT play this week, I played it and I still see highlight reels in my head.
Also from last week, I wasn’t able to tweet the show but they had Doug Marrone on via satellite, he is the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Kyle’s first question for him was about Gardner Minshew’s mustache.
The question amused me but Doug Marrone’s answer, amused me more! I am sure that he has heard about his quarterback’s mustache a lot! He kind of shook his head a little bit and let Kyle know that Garner has only, “The second best mustache in the building!” His answer really amused me because knowing who else is in the building at the Jaguars facility, Gardner is definitely second!
The winner of the best mustache is hands-down, the teams owner, Sha’d Khan!!! I searched the Internet to find a good picture of Sha’d Khan’s mustache and this is what I came up with. I couldn’t decide on just one picture:
I don’t know if this next picture was photoshopped or not, but if it is NOT, that is just awesome!
My Mom changed my furnace filter and turned my heat on today because I was freezing in my house as I first watched, Hocus Pocus
Today. I am still not feeling much better but I know that it is coming and I continue to take the pills I’m supposed to to get better. I’ve been averaging watching Hocus Pocus twice a day because I like it and it calms me when I don’t feel well, which is right now.
The Lions are on a bye this week and Michigan won today so now I can just recline in my wheelchair and veg out and watch Hocus Pocus. again. I hope I sleep well tonight and I think I will because it is warm in my house now because of my Mom.
Matchbox 20’s album, Mad Season came out in May 2000. I was working at 7-Eleven and was about to graduate from high school. I’ve talked about that being the MOST disgusting summer job ever because it was but I listened to that CD on loop in the mornings when I drove there.
The song I am going to post was one of the primary singles released. I can’t get it out of my head because I don’t feel well right now! Hopefully, tomorrow, I can write about watching GMFB this morning Because I can’t just yet. I am failing in and out of sleep a lot but I am not, “Talking to myself in public” nor am I, “Dodging glances on the train” but I will be happy when I can finally kick this! #MSsucks because everything takes longer to get better! Case in point: my knee still hurts!
My Mom brought me pills from my doctor’s office yesterday afternoon. I took two doses yesterday and I’ve had three doses today thus far. Maybe I am feeling a little bit better… I was still a bit out of it as I watched GMFB this morning. I haven’t even tweeted anyone on the show in two days! It hurt me that I didn’t tweet Kay after I watched her bang her gavel with her left hand! We lefties have to stick together!
The breakfast table talked to Omar Ruiz this morning (Whom I recently followed on Twitter) and Kyle asked him about being disappointed after going to a Pearl Jam show. Omar said that he loves Pearl Jam (Who doesn’t?!) but at this particular concert they did NOT play Jeremy, Yellow Ledbetter, or Black. I would have been disappointed too!
I added those three songs in this post. I know that I have posted them before, but this time, I posted the unplugged versions because I am feeling pretty mellow:
I didn’t feel well AGAIN this morning! I watched GMFB but I dozed off a few times. I was excited because today is #WhiteboardWednesday. The guys always have hilarious answers! I actually missed most of the sacrament because I was sleeping but I msaw Kyle‘s answer and I searched Twitter to find the question Kay asked.
Kay Asked which song Daniel Jones, the Quarterback for the New York Giants, should enter the stadium to?
Kyle’s answer:
I laughed when I saw his answer because I knew that song! I have listened to it a few times today and I couldn’t even make the sound at the beginning back before I had MS and could speak clearly. Believe me, I tried today as I listened to this song multiple times. I still can’t do it!
It was NOT a good morning for me today! I was extremely groggy as I watched GMFB.
Peter talked about Teddy Bridgewater and the shirt he wore on Sunday at the press conference after the Saints win. I noticed that shirt on Sunday when he gave his press conference. Peter said it had been 15 years since he had worn that shirt. I thought about it and I think it was more like 25 or 27 years since I wore the same shirt because I think I wore when I was like 10 or 12. I’m close to his age. I’m close to all of their ages except for Kay, she’s younger than me!
I was groggy through parts of the show but I eventually woke up so I watched the beginning of the show as the second broadcast of it began at 10:00 a.m. I swear that I can’t Miss a second of that show because Kyle Brant is absolutely hilarious! In the beginning of the show, the breakfast table talked about the dominating win the Steelers has over the Bengals last night. Mason Rudolph was the quarterback because Ben Rothlisberger is out for the year. They showed a picture of Mason Rudolph at the press conference after the win and the table was silent for a moment:
Peter said something about Mason Rudolph looking like Taylor Lautner. Kyle always says hilarious things off the cuff! He asked Peter who is that he looks like and he said Taylor Lautner and Kyle said that he is #TeamEdward anyway. 😂😂😂 Even though I was the rebroadcast, I tweeted him anyway:
Once I had seen everything, I stopped watching and posted my October faves in the Tunes tab on my blog.
Today as my Mom and I completed our morning routine to get me ready for the day, I told her that I didn’t feel very well. I thought of a book that I read to Sean a lot when he was very young. Dr. Suess’s My Many Colored Days:
I told her that I felt like the purple dragon. It is “A purple day” that I am trying to shake off.
Once I was ready for the day, I fell in and out of sleep as I watched TV still not able to shake the purple day feeling off. Then, I realized it’s October 1st and now starts, “Blogtober” which means for the month of October, a blogger needs to post every day on their blog. I Sara doing this probably in September but I want to keep it going!
Also, because it is October 1st. It’s time to watch Hocus Pocus!I bought it today and I probably will watch it 1 million times until Halloween! It’s basically tradition!
Last week, Sean was making himself a sandwich or something and we both were in the kitchen and he has access to all of my music on our Apple Music account and he told me that when he was growing up, remembers that, “[You] listened to some good music! Black Crowes?! That’s really good!” I kind of laughed and thought about my Black Crowes CD that I played on loop for months. (Back when I could still drive) He must’ve been about six or seven?
Surprisingly, the Shake Your Money Maker album is NOT downloaded on my Apple Music; so, I downloaded that and I have been listening to it and remembering our second apartment. That IS a really good album! I’m completely immersed!
I tried jamming out to Struttin’ Blues because I was by myself so there was no one to hear. I couldn’t do it and I started to cry so then I just started listening to the more mellow tunes.
Then I listened to this song which makes me cry for an entirely different reason!
Late in the show on GMFB today, Peter Schrager talked about Garner Minshew. He is the starting quarterback for the Jacksonville jaguars. He became the starting quarterback after the first quarter of the week one game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Nick Foles injured his clavicle. They say he is going to be out for eight weeks. Garner Minshew just got the win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
I asked Sean if he knew what Garner Minshew looked like after that first week. He didn’t know so I texted him these pictures that the breakfast table shared on TV.:
I told Sean that he is a character and Sean laughed!
The whole breakfast table wore mustaches like his during a segment about him couple weeks ago.
Then, they showed a picture of Garner with uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite.
It made me laugh to see that picture because that movie made me laugh a whole lot!
Today, Peter was speaking and he said that he wasn’t going to talk about the fact that Garner is a, “Cult of Personality.” He wanted to talk more about the win but my mind went completely to this song:
I immediately was a six year old, little kid once I searched for the video on YouTube. Again, I thought of my two oldest brothers! Most especially, my second oldest brother, Steve.
