Just Barely

Yesterday, my friend texted me and asked me how my eyes are doing. I must say that when I saw the Lions play opening weekend, I could tell that I could not see as well as I have been able to. That shocked me.

I thought about a supplement that I took a couple of years ago. Dr. Clark’s office offered it and I was on it for a while until they could no longer get it. So I stopped taking that maybe for a couple months. But after watching that opening weekend, I could see that my eyes had faded so much so I restarted supplement. I found it on Amazon.

I watched the Rams last weekend and I saw before they lost and I could see the lineup so much better! I think that it’s that supplement.

We spoke about my eyes and I told him that they are not darkening like I have diabetes. Things are just a little bit more blurry. I told him when my optometrist just told me. My left eye is 20/70and my right eye is 20/100. I’m not sure which eye was my Dad’s good eye, but he was the same. One was 20/70 and the other was 20/100.

I remember that shortly before my Dad‘s death, he stopped wearing his glasses. I am not there yet. Years ago an optometrist told me that my eyesight is so bad that it’s better that I have a contact that is directly on my eyeball rather than space between my eye and a pair of glasses. Now that I have the expensive contacts, I can put them in so much easier so that seems to work.

it really stinks. I still hear that d*mn doctor from when I was first diagnosed! “Look, [I] have MS, I’m going to go blind and then I’m going to die. I’m hanging on though… Just barely!!!
