Heavy Stuff

Last Wednesday, I was taking my night supplements and my Mom commented that I was on top of my supplements. I responded by simply telling her, “It’s 100% of my life. That and going to doctors appointments.”

I never thought that my life would be this way, but it is and it makes sense to me. I can still schedule my doctor appointments and order my supplements monthly at this point. I’m not sure what it will look like when I’m not able to do that anymore.

That’s pretty much it. I post on my blog and watch Hallmark movies. That’s my life. It’s quite mundane, but I have no other choice. I’m going to the dentist next week and the week after, I’m going to my internist to get weighed.

I’ve never planned for my life to be like this, I was supposed to get married and have two more children all the while still teaching. MS had different ideas and that’s unfortunate.

There is a supplement that I took for my eyes. Given that last night, I couldn’t really see the game, I was concerned. I told my Mom and she reminded me of that supplement that I used to take but Dr. Clark‘s office no longer offers it. I got it online some months before they stopped supplying it. My Mom bought me two bottles of that supplement today so maybe my eyes will get a little better.

My vision is not darkening, but I can’t really focus on things very well anymore. And yes, I still hear that damn doctor Who told me when I was diagnosed that I would eventually call blind and then I will die. This is all really heavy stuff.

I really wish the weather would break already because it’s doing terrible things to my body! Today was a rough day.

I’m still using the last of a tube of my Cucumber Mint chapstick. It’s supposed to be 86° when I go to the dentist so I don’t think I will change to Fall flavors just yet. Regardless of the weather, I will change over to pomegranate at my Internist appointment on the 22nd because I’m changing to Pumpkin Spice on October 1 and watching Hocus Pocus.
