I had to update my payment plan with Henry Ford today because Dr. Cerghet had charged for my virtual appointment. I was waiting for that. I have not stopped thinking about that appointment! Each day I think of different things.
I called in an attempt to make my swallow test appointment, but I can’t do that yet. The appointments are not open yet that far off. I will have my swallow test in April. They told me that my doctors orders are only valid for 60 days so I will contact Dr. Chamas to order a swallow test because I’m more connected with her office.
I also called to speak with the pain clinic because I will need an appointment in January to get my supplies for my tens unit renewed. I thought that would have been covered with my lawsuit settlement for the rest of my life, but it is not. I wear my tens unit daily. I need to call them back in mid to late November for a January virtual appointment. I do my appointments virtually as much as possible because I’m homebound now.
Dr. Cerghet said that it may be because I drink two nutrition shakes a day that that has caused my weight loss. She asked me if it was difficult to eat and I told her that it is getting more difficult and I’m kind of looking forward to this swallow test to see what they’re going to say.
I really cannot believe that 100% of my life is spent on my disease. I think that’s a little bit insane! I see Dr. Clark next Tuesday and he is my real doctor. He will dose me a couple supplements that I may need to change in the short term.
I love that he says that I am beating the system. I can’t believe I am involved with the system in the first place and it’s a little bit complicated. Things make sense to me right now and I hope they do for a long time.
My supplements for this month arrived on Wednesday, and my Mom has already put them out on my desk. It fills the length of the desk. They will all be gone by the end of the month. I will order more on the first Wednesday of November.
Sean will already be 25 at that point, which is another level of insanity that I can’t even believe is happening!!!
