Because I Played it 10 Million Times!

I have written before how I shared a playlist with my oldest nephew, not too long ago. He asked me about a playlist that I made for my Dad. I made it for my Dad’s 55th birthday and I gave him 55 singles to commemorate the day. I did not think that in less than three months, he would be gone.

Right after I sent that to my nephew, I sent it to my son just so he would have it as well. Yesterday, he decided to tell me about myself, and he said that I shared that playlist with my nephew. Before he said anything more, I told him that I sent that playlist to him as well that same day, and he should look for it!

He told me to send it to him again so I did, but I told him that I added two Toby Keith songs for my Mom because we listened to Toby Keith a lot after my Dad died! Then I told Sean that I added two songs for me. Maroon 5 and U2.

He called me when he was driving home and he told me that he did not recognize the Maroon 5 song and he waited until Adam Levine started singing, and then he said, “I’ve heard that song 10 million times!” And I just responded with, “Because I played it 10 million times!”:

Love at First Sight

We watched this movie yesterday instead of watching the ball drop:

I watched it again today to see anything that I missed the first time through. I didn’t get why Oliver does not like surprises; but now I know!

I dug this song the first time I saw this movie and so the second time I saw it, I searched for it, and found it:

“Santa Claus is Coming to Town!”

So, I posted this on Facebook eight days ago:

I received a lot of laughter and likes from this post because everyone who knows me knows that this song is my jam. I did get one comment though:

I laughed at it because my cousinT Shannon and I were in high school when I told her that I HATE the Bruce Springsteen song just as she told me that she hates the Wham! song! She LOVES the Bruin Springsteen song!

After we came to that conclusion, we made a pact to listen to it, at least once a Christmas for the other person! So Shan, this one’s for you!!!:

Smooth

I watched 2 Netflix movies today that were COMPLETELY in line with my Christmas movie watching.

I first watched Jingle Jangle A Christmas Journey:

I didn’t see this one last year and it totally startles me that Forest Whitaker can sing?!!!

I accidentally put the video in twice, but I really liked watching it!

Then my Mom came to sit in the living room and we just let the movies play that were available on Netflix and we saw Holiday in the Vineyard and we watched that one too! It was really cute!:

But, the whole time I was watching these two holiday Netflix movies, my legs were spasming like crazy! Both of them! I could even feel it in my butt. I just have to ride out the spasm.

It wasn’t until my Mom was ready to go to sleep that she asked me what that shaking was as she sat next to me. It was my legs! They were shaking like crazy because I was having a spasm. But with my new foot pedals, my feet don’t jerk completely off of the foot pedal anymore! It kind of makes me think of this song that my Mom absolutely loves but my chair is really Smooth with all my adjustments!!!

“What about that Train song?”

Great minds think a like, and my mom asked me today, “What about that train song?” I started to laugh, and I told her that I was just thinking about that song so I will post it here so I can have it queued up for my Mom tomorrow!:

I wonder where my T-shirt is that I got and their concert?!

“Queen Mariah”

I told Sean the other day when they put up the Christmas tree and he commented something about time for, “Queen Mariah!” that that Christmas song has ALWAYS been a banger! I was 12 years old when it came out!

I told him that was back when she was married to that record company executive. He was floored that she was married BEFORE Nick Cannon. That Christmas song always reminds me of driving to my grandparents house in the green station wagon. We would have birthday cake because my grandma’s birthday is on Christmas Eve.

I have loved that song since it came out, but I get to see it in Love Actually tomorrow!:

The Thing Called Love

I have been thinking about this movie for a really long time, but I do not own it so I will need to see if it is available One of my streaming platforms!:

I really started thinking about this movie when I saw this video of Taylor Swift, a lot of her videos are showing up in my YouTube feed and every now and then I HAVE to see what they’re about:

This one totally made me think about The Thing Called Love, and I really should watch it soon…
