I heard this tune awhile ago while I waited, in the car, for my mom after ATI one day. I’ve been in a funk for a while so I have not posted it but I thought about it to again today.
I was reminded of the bus ride to Washington DC in eighth grade. When I was in eighth grade, I got solos for the Christmas play and I had some pipes. I would sing often! Because of my youth, I really didn’t care what people said so I belted out songs all of the time!, probably to the annoyance of some people. I think about that fact now and cringe and shake my head.
When I heard this song on the radio not too long go, because I was by myself, I remembered all the words so I belted them out (NOT as well as I used to!)
It surprised me that I could not hit a lot of the notes but I haven’t really been in the singing mood as of late. I guess I need to work on that! Hearing this song brought back so many fond memories and it made me smile (even though I could not sing it as well as I used to!)
