My neurologist almost did not see me today because we were just a little bit late. She seemed irritated but saw me because it was 3:45 and my appointment was at 3:30. She saw me and ordered another MRI for me in August and she said that if my brain activity is showing no new lesions that I can wait for a year to see her. Otherwise it’s lots of bloodwork and stuff.
I will have to call tomorrow to schedule an MRI and hopefully that will be my last one because I have Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (SPMS) Because I have had MS for over 10 years, When you enter into SPMS, your brain scans do not change but your symptoms worsen. Something to look forward too I guess!
But, that is not even the important part of this blog post! It is summer time! It is warm outside! But that also means that they have Girl Scout cookie blizzard‘s at Dairy Queen! I saw commercials for it a while ago and told my Mom and yesterday Sean was here and I told him to get me a Mini (I call it a ‘baby’) Thin Mint blizzard whenever he remembers. He just kind of smirked and said, “Noted.”
So, I got one today and it was just as good as I remember it!
