Overheated

I blowdried my hair today and I had to take an, “Intermission” in the middle of the process because now that my hair is close to 2 inches longer, it takes longer to blow dry and I get overheated. I cut my hair to it’s current length just over 12 years ago on my 26th birthday.

It became abundantly clear to me why I did this just over 12 years ago. Long hair is way too hard to keep up! Sean laughed when I tossed my hair because it is so long! He told me last week it was like an inch longer than normal. The last haircut I had, had to have been in mid February. I didn’t make a March appointment because that was just when things were starting to ramp up. I canceled a cleaning appointment I had with the dentist because things were just starting to get bad.

It is imperative that I take all of these developments seriously because my immune system is compromised. My Mom has offered to cut my hair for me because the drying took so long but I just laughed and in declined the offer. Christina has been waxing my eyebrows and cutting my hair for the past 17 years and pandemic or not, I am NOT going to change that! Because of that fact, I will just let my eyebrows grow (Like I am) and my hair along with it! I will just have to to take breaks while blow drying my hair and deal with my pink face and fatigue caused by me becoming overheated.
