I just realized today when I was talking with Sean and my Mom that I pposted my very first blog post 9 years ago, today! I thought to write something important today but I don’t feel well at all! I will leave you with this:
This song reminds me of undergrad. It was summer time and I was deeply immersed in this album!!!:
Today was the first snowfall of the season and I had forgotten how terrible it makes me feel but, now, I remember because I feel every bit of the moisture in the air and subsequently my body!!!
It’s pillage day for me and it kind of took a little bit longer because I am dragging a little bit!:
it’s just going to take me a minute to get used to snow on the ground and more moisture in the air! Ugh!!!
Real-So, I noticed this yesterday when I was watching mass with Father Mike Schmitz. I already had my contacts in and my glasses on and I’ve been following that virtual front view mass for about a year and a half now but I noticed real-time diminishment of my sight. I texted my friend this this morning (when I woke up):
This fact is very new to me and it’s a lot to process! I cannot help but hear that from almost 22 years ago telling me that I was going to go blind…
I can see this music video playing on the TV in my dorm room at WMU. If I am recalling correctly, my roommate was in class and I didn’t have class for a while so I had just taken a shower after working out and I’m sitting on my futon watching music videos because MTV used to show them all the time 22 years ago!:
I am reminded of my early teaching days back when I used to be able to drive. If you haven’t figured out, I am playing Tile Triple 3D on my phone as I let my playlist play. That game is like Memory when I was a kid and it’s good for my hand eye coordination. I think I have been on level 200 for a month!:
My poor girl has another skin infection! My Mom is going to pick up medication from her vet tomorrow when she gets a van because it is ‘Go Time’ starting tomorrow. I go to my ophthalmologist on Thursday as for Leia, hopefully, her pink skin will get better!:
Well, I did it! I forewent my haircut so my Mom could get her hair dyed and then I got a flu shot this morning and I just finished at Dr. skarf’s office. I am exhausted but I want to talk about this tomorrow hopefully.
I thought rationing my vitamins was a thing of the past because this month, I ordered two bottles of each of the monthly pills I buy. I order my vitamins from my chiropractor‘s office on Wednesday once I get paid and they usually arrive on Saturday just in time for me to Pillage.
I spoke to a new receptionist and I had to give her my phone number twice and she was having difficulty putting my order together. I told her that it was no problem and she can call me back when she gets The order total and finished and that she is doing a great job!
Marina called me back later in the day and she told me that she probably would get the vitamins out on Thursday. So on Saturday, my package has not arrived yet. I’m cool with rationing it though! I don’t LOVE doing that but hopefully I can fill parts of my pillbox during the week…
I was playing a game on my phone the other day with my Apple Music playing and a random song came on and made me think of our second apartment. I can see myself sitting on the bench at the end of my bed (which I no longer have) tying my shoes. It was summertime:
But then I heard this song and I was reminded of when Sean probably was six. Maybe five? It was Christmas time and he asked me why Santa does not bring good kid’s Moms things. Well, you know that I HAD TO buy something for myself and this was the first thing I bought:
These songs are out of order but they definitely are songs from our second apartment soundtrack!!!
Today is not an excellent day but I decided to watch my first Christmas movie of the year. It’s my very first after Thanksgiving movie and it’s completely fitting that it was Last Christmas.
I heard this song when she is sitting at the bar and turns down another drink and she goes home. This song is from when I was seven years old! At least that’s what I am thinking. It was summer time and we had our green carpet at my Parents’ house in our living room back then:
it looks like it is turning out to be a double feature today and I don’t mind at all!!!
