31 Years?!!!! OR My Eyes are Sick

Today is day #2 of Recovery and I’m thinking it’s going to be a full weekend recovery but I have another appointment on Tuesday so…

Let me talk about these new contacts! They are the easiest thing to put into my eyes! I have been struggling to put them in for the past 31 years?!!!! Each time I go to put them in my eye, they just suction to my eyeball! It’s so surprising!

I thought I was just going to see Liz to get fitted for them, but she wanted me to see Dr. Harris. He looked at my eyes through the machine in the room and had me look up and blink and he poked the bottom of my eye just to see how they were moving in them.

is going to see him on Wednesday and my mom told him and she said, “his”His name is Sean.”

He looked at me and asked a question that I never thought I would ever be asked and to be able to answer in an affirmative way! He said, “I bet he has your eyes.”

I let out a surprised gasp, but I think, I could feel my eyes light up, and I told him, “He does!”

Dr. Harris said that I could discontinue using my Renu re-wetting drops. These contacts fill excellent in my eyes, but I’m not going to discontinue using my re-wetting drops because my eyes are sick. They have been sick for the past 24 years. They got sick when I was pregnant with Sean!

Rando Tune #77

This song was released on May 29, 2001. My freshman year of college had just completed.

I had just found out that I was pregnant and I had just put in to transfer to EMU from WMU. I was accepted but plans changed when I found out that I was pregnant.

The whole story of my enrollment and U if M – Dearborn is absolutely insane, but I’m too tired to write about it now. Here is this song:

#DiseaseProgression

This is the first time on the eve of ‘go time’ that I have totally changed my appointments for tomorrow.

Instead of getting haircuts, I am going to the optometrist to change my out my contacts because my eyes get really itchy and they dry my eyes out. #DiseaseProgression

I hope these new contacts fit well and are not so expensive! Either way, I have to pay for it! Then we’re going to see about shoes…

“Meeting of the Minds”

I am currently having issues with my feet. My big toes are hurting! I was at a loss and did not know what to do but then I thought for a moment and decided to commence a ‘meeting of the minds’

My Facebook friend, Ashley started this group a number of years ago, and it consists of people who have had MS for a long time.

I decided to ask them and I posted that ‘I am a homebound, chair bound person and what kind of shoes do you use? Which works best for you?’ I got responses! And I still am getting them! Over 20 people have commented on the shoes they use and it’s so enlightening and I have a lot of ideas.

That’s really good because I canceled my hair appointment on Wednesday:

I have no idea what’s going on with my phone. It’s not letting me pictures but it’s not.

So, for this month, I will forgo my haircut to go to Optimize to get new contacts and then wherever we’re going to end up, going to to get new shoes. nedical shoes I think. This really scares me!

#ItSucksToSuck #MSsucks!!! 😒😒😒…

We Laughed!!!

I read on Facebook on Saturday that today was 35th anniversary of Home Alone release date. I arranged for Sean to pick up Roman Village and bring it here so we could watch it.

It had been about three or four years since I saw this movie so I knew that we would laugh! And did we laugh?!!!! My Mom laughed especially and I loved hearing it!

Before Sean came over, we talked on the phone andhe asked me what my favorite part was, and I told him this part:

It’s still my favorite part!!!

I had too much bread, but it was from Roman Village and with each piece, I stated that it felt like I was back at CCA. We used to get Roman Village for the staff for Parent-Teacher conferences constantly!

Here is the deal with me, I have been on the SouthBeach diet pretty much since I had Sean. While I was working at CCA, I would say that I don’t break my diet, but I WILL for Roman Village bread! I had A LOT of Roman Villiage’s bread today while it was hot! Can I pay for it tomorrow but it was worth it because we laughed so much and I loved hearing it!!!
